Help us name the Arrowhead Ranch Outdoor Classroom!
The outdoor classroom at Arrowhead Ranch is a collaborative project with the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation and key community stakeholders. This will not be your typical "playground" but instead an outdoor space to learn, explore and connect with nature. The target age for the space is 0-5 years old but the area is designed to be enjoyed by children of all ages (including adults!) The space will be free for the public to enjoy and open for groups to reserve for field trips and other educational opportunities. Specific dates and times of when the area will be open will be announced soon. But first we need a NAME....
We our asking our community to submit suggestions for a name for this fun space - use your creativity and imagination! The images below are concept drawings but will be helpful to give you an idea of what is being created. We do have two parameters for the name:
- The name should include "Arrowhead"
- The name should be not too long
If your suggested name is chosen by the committee you will get to choose one of the following prizes (all valued at $100):
- An early learning kit for children ages 0-5 OR
- Arrowhead Ranch merchandise and goodies OR
- $100 gift card to Orchards Nursery
Name submissions will be accepted from May 2nd until May 18th. The name of the space will be announced at the Soap Box Derby on June 15th.
