SCAF is more than a Foundation

We empower our community through partnerships, charitable giving, and thoughtful stewardship in three key ways:

Hyperlocal Support

We live, work, and give within the Stanwood-Camano community. We intimately understand its evolving needs, 100% of your donation stays local to create direct, visible impact.

Community Connection

We serve as the central networking point for local nonprofits. By supporting SCAF, you strengthen the entire ecosystem, ensuring all vital community services can better achieve their missions.

Enabling Impact

We provide stability and long-term vision. We are a trusted community anchor that provides a consistent way for you to invest your resources, even as individual nonprofits evolve or change over time.

Areas of Focus

Empowering
Nonprofits

Providing networking, education, mentoring, grant funding, and physical resources (like meeting space and hosting SC Give).

Fostering Community Involvement

Acting as the fiscal sponsor for the Community Coalition and creating opportunities for volunteerism and financial support.

Investing in
Education

Managing scholarship programs for students and adult learners, and providing Educational Enhancement Grant funding for the local School District.

Want to donate or
sponsor a scholarship?

Our program allows individuals, families, groups, or businesses to offer scholarships without creating their own award process. The deadline to establish a new scholarship for the following application cycle is Dec. 1 (High School) or May 1 (Adult).
