The Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Night on May 26, celebrating local graduating seniors and presenting the Stanwood-Camano Community Scholarships.

This year, 154 students received 292 scholarships from 118 local donors, with total community support reaching a record-breaking $352,100 for the Class of 2026. Of those awards, 16 scholarships are renewable for an additional one to three years, extending the impact of this community investment well beyond graduation.

All scholarships presented during Scholarship Night are made possible by local individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations. Many are funded through endowments established by local families years ago to create perpetual annual scholarships in memory of loved ones, ensuring their legacies continue to support future generations of students.

The Stanwood-Camano Community Scholarship Program is open to any graduating senior living within or attending the Stanwood-Camano School District, including students who are homeschooled or attend private school.
